The EF-S 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 IS lens is quite good lens - specially the optical quality. They made calibration for the camera body and for two lenses. Previously all lenses were back-focusing with my camera. In my case all lenses I have (3 of them) have been sent to warranty service for calibration.

Third question is that are the lenses focusing correctly? The default factory calibration of your lenses & body with your 1100D are correct, but they might not be tack sharp with your new 600D. They were good for the T3 but one may find IQ a bit lacking on the T3i. , I think I read that the kit lenses just may not be that great for this newer model. But with the newer camera model could this be the reason my photos don't look so good? Or its just ME and I will practice more. Old I know but it served me well in the past.

Is this true? Okay, here is your laugh for the day. Somewhere I thought I read that once updating to the T3i, one may also have to update their photo editing software. But I know there is a learning curve with every camera.īefore updating to the T3i I read so many reviews, most were postive and that is why I went with that model. With the T3i, pictures look great when I view then in the camera but uploading them into my photo software they look a bit soft and not what I would have expected.

Kit lens being used is the EF-S 18-55 mm IS and the EF-S 18-135 mm IS and EF-S 55-250 mm IS. I got the body only and am using my kit lens that came with my T3. I was using the T3 but recently updated to the Canon T3i, got it Wednesday and this AM I have been testing it. This place is my go to place, I know I can find help here.so much awesome info.
